What we collect
For beta access we store your email address, consent and verification timestamps, a pseudonymous hash of the requesting IP address, and download activity. Contact messages store the details you submit. Raw IP addresses are not stored by the application.
Application news checks
myCamino can check this website once per day for news and software updates. The request contains the application version and ordinary connection information, but no installation identifier, Adventure name, media, GPS position, or usage history. Read and unread status remains on your Mac. Automatic checks can be disabled from the myCamino application menu.
Why we process it
Beta registration data is used to verify access, send essential beta information and receive feedback. Contact data is used only to answer your message. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Retention
Unverified registrations are removed after seven days. Contact messages are retained for up to one year. Verified beta records are removed no later than 90 days after the beta communication period closes, with an operational maximum of 455 days.
Cookies and services
The site uses only essential security and session cookies. It has no analytics, behavioural advertising or social-media trackers.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to mycamino@heinofalcke.de.
